Prajakta's Advice to 15 year self | Shekhar Arena

'The best people you can contact at any point in your life are your parents. Believe me, they are pretty good listeners.'-Prajakta believes in this. If you are not aware about who prajakta is, Prajakta Koli aka MostlySane is  a leading female youtube content creator with 5.55 M subscribers at present. She has some advices to her 15 year self, some of which I believe is relevant to all. Let's see what see has in her bucket list.

You are worried, talk to your parents. You have self-doubt, talk to your parents. Basically consult them whenever required. They are pretty good listeners.

Prajakta advises to read as many books as we can. Read everyday. This is the most calming feeling you will ever have.

Make saving a habit. There are two ways to do this-Spend as per your needs and then save what's left. The second and effective one, suggested by Warren Buffet is put your savings aside and then spend. Let it be Rs 10 from your pocket money or, 20% of your payroll, just save!

Select your priorities. It's Ok to not have a plan. It's okay if things didn't go as per your plan. But what's important is you have set your priorities. Trust the process! It's worth your time.

See college as a project. A fun, personality development journey. Just filter out the negatives and enjoy this life-changing project.

Let me know which of these advises had a  impact on your life. Also, comment down your views and experiences.

Thanks.

  1. No doubt that the parents have more experience than us and that they have seen the world but at the same time it's also true that they have not seen the world that we are living in right now. And to be honest it is a lot different than the world they have seen

  6. Sometimes parents don't understand us due to generation gap and also due to the conservative society we are living with... Maybe that's the reason we hides our problems.

  8. Your parent could be your best friend. Like you share things with your buddies anything could be shared with them too to erase this generation gap....
you can also engage yourself in doing things which you like the most....
And save money for a surprise gifts to your parents.... and that will give you immense happiness than anything else.... you could then only witness the genuine love in the form of crytal water in thir eyes....
and the most important thing to live life happily is to change your habits and follow a disciplined routine.
Last but not the least be something for your parents ... prove yourself and and be proud kid of your parent and a pride for your teachers and friends.....

It has 400 franchise outlets spread across India and abroad including Dubai, Muscat and Nepal. Welcome to ShekharArena! Today we will let you know about Chai Sutta Bar and elements of business that have helped them achieve this feat. Till today, Chai Sutta Bar is a bootstrapped business. Bootstrapped means they haven't taken any loans or external investments to fund their business. Product Range: Initially they kept adding new products to the inventory and made it to 200 products. This is a common mistake that most early age investors do. Menu design should focus on how we can maximize no of products with less raw materials, less resources and same SOP with little modifications. They learnt it the hard way and now they serve only 21 products. Initial Team: The initial team structure should align with your vision. Not only the team should give 200% efforts plus can prov...

Bihar and the Education System | Bihar mein bahar h

He was completely demoralized, analysing where did he go wrong. Was his preparation not apt enough to crack the interview? Didn't he had the technical knowledge, the profile required- all this was whirling in his head, while he sat in disguise with a cup of tea. Welcome back to Shekhar Arena!  Hope you are doing fine. Today, I will tell you a story- a story of our friends, students and the teachers! There is this friend of mine who was attending an Off-Campus placement drive of a reputed MNC. He did his graduation in computer applications from a renowned institute of Bihar. 6 out of 49 students cleared the aptitude test. There he met another guy about whom he said later that guy was technically sound than him. This guy did his graduation from same renowned institute, located in another city of our state. The technical round was a WhatsApp video interview and the interviewer asked scenario based questions. He was dumbstruck, didn't understand the questions well-answers of...

Adheen-The Dependent | Not a Movie Review

"Ice, that is brittle can be shattered, while water flows and adapts" . This means 'टूटता कठोर है ,कोमल नहीं'. Have you ever thought why most of our parents want us to guide throughout our childhood and teenage till the time we stand on our feet? Think about this and let  me know in comments. Vacations and Parents I think dependency is a relative term, you may be dependent on someone in one context, independent in other. To all the people living away from their homes, please respond on these two questions? 1. When was the last time you visited your home? Here, home means the place where your parents live. 2. If you visited in last 6 months, did you sit still with them and talked about how life is going, what problems are they facing, are there any health issues or anything else without peeping in your phone? You think they are fine, but wait they are not. Adheen, a short film directed by Yash Verma talks about these intricacies. Rajendra(Sanjay Mishra) fre...
