The Practical Side of Coronavirus-2

In India, major portion (almost 80-90%)of the entire population is young. But how does this matter?

In the last blog, we analyzed the actual situation of COVID 19, based on some statistics.
Welcome back to Shekhar Arena!

Upon some calculation based on statistical measures, we derived at the fact that there can be as many as 1 crore cases in India given adequate no of tests are performed. Some recent reports signal a much better recovery rate in most of the states. But still there is no guaranteed way to stop this spread. It might multiply to 2 or, even 5 crores. Looks terrible, no? Again it's  a fragment of the entire picture.

A better aspect to this is herd immunity that we have achieved over the lockdown period. If more and more people are affected by the virus, there are antibodies developed to fight against the virus and then the spread can be pretty low. The question is till what time you can sit at home. That's the reason why the government is unlocking the lockdown gradually.

You must be wondering how does India being a young country helps? Why death rate is lowest in the entire world?
There are two major reasons.Statistics reveal that most of the deaths are of the people aged more than 60 years. Also these people suffered from some other disease as well. The virus only triggered the cause. May be the cause was only a viral infection in some of the cases.

India being a young country i.e. if more than 80% of the population is aged less than 60, death rate is so low in India.
Second reason being our stronger immunity than western countries. We are immune to a large pool of infections and viruses. That's why the only solution is to achieve herd immunity asap. The government should now focus on attaining immunity than extending the lockdown.

And obviously we know what do we need to do and what not to, right?

Do let us know what do you think in the comments section below. Leave a note on what should we talk about in our upcoming blogs.

    1. You are absolutely right but one more thing I would like represent here that we should keep distance from other people by ourselves till we haven't got vaccine.its completely our
responsibility how to do that. no need to wait for lockdown so that we can keep social distancing.

  2. Better' idea. Now what we should to do that we should take safety measures as individual. Govt. has already done lot of things for human welfare by applying lockdown(stay home, stay safe) and still doing.

  4. If you develope heard immunity then there is so much death occurs at a certain level but after some around 2-3 crores cases it is not sure that cases will decrease. Due to lockdown in India the covid-19 cases will not increase exponentially.. But if lockdown will not open our economic sinks. One more point i have to add in India at the early stage of child BCG vaccine is given to child.. According to some experts India have good immunity compared to western countries.

  5. Ok.. I don't know about herd immunity then can you tell abot disadvantage of herd immunity. In early stages of covid19 UK follows herd immunity concept. But cases are still increasing and population of uk is about 6-7 crores. So herd immunity is not a proper solution in India.

Adheen-The Dependent | Not a Movie Review

"Ice, that is brittle can be shattered, while water flows and adapts" . This means 'टूटता कठोर है ,कोमल नहीं'. Have you ever thought why most of our parents want us to guide throughout our childhood and teenage till the time we stand on our feet? Think about this and let  me know in comments. Vacations and Parents I think dependency is a relative term, you may be dependent on someone in one context, independent in other. To all the people living away from their homes, please respond on these two questions? 1. When was the last time you visited your home? Here, home means the place where your parents live. 2. If you visited in last 6 months, did you sit still with them and talked about how life is going, what problems are they facing, are there any health issues or anything else without peeping in your phone? You think they are fine, but wait they are not. Adheen, a short film directed by Yash Verma talks about these intricacies. Rajendra(Sanjay Mishra) fre...

Solitude and Loneliness

Don't you think the root cause of most of our problems is the underlying loneliness that most of us experience in our daily lives today. Let's analyse what is the reason behind and derive some practical solution to this. Basically there are two situations i.e, loneliness and Solitude. In loneliness, you are alone and worried about having no one by your side while solitude is experiencing a whole new world when you are alone. You experience happiness when you are alone. You don't need a second person to be happy. The root cause of our emptiness is that our foundation for living is based on lies. We are stuck in the loop of lie spread by ourselves only and continue exhibiting dual personality. Actually we try to complete our emptiness through other things, actions and relationships (people)- don't we? As a consequence, we become more dependable on those things, actions or people. This dependency could be at physical, psychological, financial or even at mental level....

Bihar and the Education System | Bihar mein bahar h

He was completely demoralized, analysing where did he go wrong. Was his preparation not apt enough to crack the interview? Didn't he had the technical knowledge, the profile required- all this was whirling in his head, while he sat in disguise with a cup of tea. Welcome back to Shekhar Arena!  Hope you are doing fine. Today, I will tell you a story- a story of our friends, students and the teachers! There is this friend of mine who was attending an Off-Campus placement drive of a reputed MNC. He did his graduation in computer applications from a renowned institute of Bihar. 6 out of 49 students cleared the aptitude test. There he met another guy about whom he said later that guy was technically sound than him. This guy did his graduation from same renowned institute, located in another city of our state. The technical round was a WhatsApp video interview and the interviewer asked scenario based questions. He was dumbstruck, didn't understand the questions well-answers of...
