Tablighi Jamaat and COVID 19 | Beyond Religion

Is religion above all? The stories spread about tablighi Jamaat depict the same. You must have heard it, seen it on WhatsApp.

The world is fighting a virus, millions are in hospitals, thousands are on streets, but how does it matter? Religion comes first,no?

"If you hear of a plague in a land, then don't go into it. If it happens in a land where you are, then don't go out of it". This is an actual excerpt from Hadith. But people are misinterpreting it.

This blog is not against a religion, it's against stupidity. Tablighi Jamaat is almost a 100 years old missionary movement that started in India. Between 1st to 15th March, they organized several gatherings in Nizamuddin area of New Delhi. These gatherings were attended by 1000's of people(around 9000) from India and abroad including UK, Indonesia, Malaysia, US and China.
17 states have COVID cases linked to this event, 1/3 rd of all cases is linked to this event. Delhi Markaz has become the biggest hotspot in the country.

This brings a lot of questions. There were links to 20% cases in Malaysia and people knew it before the gathering was organized. Who gave the permission?
When they came to know about the crisis, why didn't they seek any help?
Mr. Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor of India had to go to Markaz at 2 AM to convince the Maulana to convince the people of markaz to be tested. Why?
Why are they hiding their travel information and why are the local people encouraging these people to hide at mosques?
And a lot more questions...

We will talk on what solutions can be brought in action to tackle the situation in upcoming blog.

I feel bad because stones are pelted upon doctors in Indore. The biggest problem is "in all this drama-Religion, faith and the whole concept of Islam is suffering". This blog is for the very few sensible people who will tell the Muslims around that nobody is targeting you, we are treating you. The general public needs to act more responsibly like a giant family.

See beyond Religion. See what is necessary.

Do let me know what do you think of all this situation in comment box. See you soon. Till then stay home, stay safe.

    1. This is true in this very situation. But there are multiple other incidents also where people have shown stupidity by gathering at various locations, making the situation worse. What's important is we should handle this pandemic together.

Shouldn't the Preachers be called synonym of Corona at this time .
It was really insane for them to preach their Islamic Purification lessons at this time of crisis .None of the Religion tells us to be involved in any activity that would harm mankind .
I mean , why the hell are they doing it now ?

  6. All that was written was absolutely justified by you ... No one is against Islam or muslims or neither anyone is against Jamatis...everyone just want people to br responsible so that we can help n control the situation...if anyone has seen a debate by Rubika Ilyakat on ABP on this....she also said the same thing even after being a Muslim herself.

Solitude and Loneliness

Don't you think the root cause of most of our problems is the underlying loneliness that most of us experience in our daily lives today. Let's analyse what is the reason behind and derive some practical solution to this. Basically there are two situations i.e, loneliness and Solitude. In loneliness, you are alone and worried about having no one by your side while solitude is experiencing a whole new world when you are alone. You experience happiness when you are alone. You don't need a second person to be happy. The root cause of our emptiness is that our foundation for living is based on lies. We are stuck in the loop of lie spread by ourselves only and continue exhibiting dual personality. Actually we try to complete our emptiness through other things, actions and relationships (people)- don't we? As a consequence, we become more dependable on those things, actions or people. This dependency could be at physical, psychological, financial or even at mental level....

Don't let Social Media Ruin You

Are you one of those people who spend 4-5 hrs on social media daily. Then this is a must read for you.  Starting with what is social Media?Wikipedia says "Social media are Interactive computer-mediated technologies that facilitate the creation and sharing of information, ideas, career interests and other forms of expression via virtual communities and networks. The popular ones are Facebook(and its messenger),Instagram,Twitter,Snapchat,Youtube,LinkedIn,Google+,Pinterest and Tumblr to name a few. Now ,why are we talking on this? Is it really significant.A research says "By 2020,60% of our country's total population will be present on any one or more if these platforms." On an average,a general user spends 3-4 hrs daily on these platforms. And guess what the returns on this investment are 0,and even negative in various scenarios. Guessing how?-- let's do a simple calculation: 1.3-4 hrs of our valuable 24hrs that would never come back. 2. There are no econom...

A letter to Jersey No. 7 | The Captain Cool!

Dear Maahi, A very Happy Birthday! Hope you are doing fine. 'Dhoni finishes off in style, a magnificent strike into the crowd. India lifts the World Cup after 28 years. The party starts in the dressing room and it's an indian captain who's been absolutely magnificent in the night of the final'. I can feel this entire comment, it's  not a comment any more. This is a letter from a not so typical cricket lover to a living legend. I want to let you know three of the many things I have learnt from you. 1. There is always more time than you think.  I personally believe statistics tell it all. You have been not out 50 times in ODI, out of these 50 ocassions-India won 47 matches. You have always lived this lesson. 2. Don't think of what'll happen in next 20/30 years. Plan about what are we going to do tomorrow or, a day after. You have always exhibited the subtle art of doing more and expecting less. I believe this  is a solution to multiple issues of our...
