Ultimate path to happiness

Is there any way through which we can be happy at the present moment? If we are happy at the present moment, we will be happy forever, right?

Let's talk about how we can be happy at all times. You may think that while eating your favourite chocolate, you are happy. While watching a movie, you are happy. But the fact is you are not happy but having pleasure while doing those activities. Pleasure is always instantaneous and temporary.

A lot of people think that positivity yields happiness. Yes, it contributes but how many of us think positively throughout the day. Actually we think more negative rather than positive. Some people also think that by spreading happiness, you will be happy forever. Here the fact is you yourself should be happy first to make others happy,no?

The only and ultimate solution to happiness is contentment. Contentment is actually the state of satisfaction where we are happy being aware of the fact that whatever amenities we have in life is still a dream of lakhs of people. Most  of the readers reading this have the basic amenities-food, clothes and a house to live in. Be grateful for what you have instead of crying for what you don't have.

To understand this better let's explore on how our mind actually works. Actually the mind focusses on one negative aspect instead of several positive aspects of our life. Think about the event of your fight with someone, you only think of the bad act the person did to you. It is quite possible that the same person also did numerous good acts but our mind ignores them all. The default setting of the mind  works like

ये हो गया तो, ये नहीं हुआ तो,ये क्यूं हो रहा है, ये मेरे साथ ही क्यूं हो रहा है।

We all are double minded people. We are a different person inside but represent ourselves as a different person outside. Basically our mind is a system that works on the basis of thoughts(software). So in order to be happy ,we need to change this software. You might be wondering HOW?

Let's do a short activity. Take a piece of paper and pen down the things you have - the house where you live in,
the supporting parents you have, your beautiful sister, your brother, your best friends, your pet, your soulmate ....list goes on. Aren't these things/people enough to be happy. Shouldn't you be grateful?

There is one more solution to ultimate happiness- Your connection with the universe. If you observe minutely, we all are connected to the universe. Actually something isolates us from this connection -Your EGO(Mera ye, mera wo). Understand the fact that "What I am doing is contributing to the world and vice versa. Then why not do something productive and constructive. Why not wish from the bottom of the heart that everyone should be happy. Take my word, the moment you are aware of this fact, you are into a different league of grateful and happy people who are spreading happiness and only happiness.

That's all for the day. Keep reading my blogs and continue sharing your comments on whether it helped you to live better or, any personal experiences.

Live. Love and Laugh😎

  1. I came to this blog in search of answers but couldn't find one. It's okay that you chose a great topic but the solution you gave it sounded more like you were writting a school essay and not like a blogger. Your writings need more matureness. Just for the sake don't write and meaning to each and every word should have a different feel. Focus on quality not quantity.

But in first point if we think we have bike ,home, cloth, food and become happy then we can't have other things .

    1. You didn't understand the first point. It's not like you should not desire for things in life. Just don't put the condition that if I get that thing then I will be happy. Happiness is always a choice.

Solitude and Loneliness

Don't you think the root cause of most of our problems is the underlying loneliness that most of us experience in our daily lives today. Let's analyse what is the reason behind and derive some practical solution to this. Basically there are two situations i.e, loneliness and Solitude. In loneliness, you are alone and worried about having no one by your side while solitude is experiencing a whole new world when you are alone. You experience happiness when you are alone. You don't need a second person to be happy. The root cause of our emptiness is that our foundation for living is based on lies. We are stuck in the loop of lie spread by ourselves only and continue exhibiting dual personality. Actually we try to complete our emptiness through other things, actions and relationships (people)- don't we? As a consequence, we become more dependable on those things, actions or people. This dependency could be at physical, psychological, financial or even at mental level....

A letter to Jersey No. 7 | The Captain Cool!

Dear Maahi, A very Happy Birthday! Hope you are doing fine. 'Dhoni finishes off in style, a magnificent strike into the crowd. India lifts the World Cup after 28 years. The party starts in the dressing room and it's an indian captain who's been absolutely magnificent in the night of the final'. I can feel this entire comment, it's  not a comment any more. This is a letter from a not so typical cricket lover to a living legend. I want to let you know three of the many things I have learnt from you. 1. There is always more time than you think.  I personally believe statistics tell it all. You have been not out 50 times in ODI, out of these 50 ocassions-India won 47 matches. You have always lived this lesson. 2. Don't think of what'll happen in next 20/30 years. Plan about what are we going to do tomorrow or, a day after. You have always exhibited the subtle art of doing more and expecting less. I believe this  is a solution to multiple issues of our...
