Clear the Clutter

Have you ever felt clueless about how to act in certain situations? If you observe minutely, the main reason for this is the mess we all have in our minds.

Hello readers! We will be talking today about the clarity of mind, and some practical solutions to clear the clutter of your mind.

The very first misconception about the clarity of mind is that information leads to the mess. But information is also essential for clarity,no? Without information one can't think and act. The fact of the matter is the source from which you are getting the information should be right.

Other misconception is that a majority of population thinks that if one is excited and determined to do something, they will succeed. Not necessarily they will succeed. Consider a case where I am super excited and determined to swim. So, what? Will I be able to swim? Obviously not. I have to learn about best practices to swim, what could be the safety measures and other related stuff. Not to mention here that this information should also be from the right source.

Now you must be wondering what is right source and wrong source? You might have observed that there is a category of people who know  very less or nothing about you and your goals and they keep advising on everything. Never act on the basis of advise of their people. Follow the people who have done significantly well in the field you are aspiring for. Follow them, their lifestyle, thought process and best practices and well.

Another aapect of being clear about your goals is having patience. Good things always take time. Take your time and grow gradually.
Now someone must be thinking what if there is no information related to our plan of action. For example suppose you are writing a research paper on a topic that has never been talked or written on before. This is not truth. Thousands or lakhs of people may have worked on the same thesis but we are not aware.

Another important aspect is you should be capable of distinguishing between fact and imagination. It's not that if majority of people agree to a statement it is always truth. It may not be. Fact or reality can be verified by anybody/everybody. And anything that can be questioned or its reverse is possible is an imagination.
Most teenagers face the problem of convincing their parents. If your mind is clear it will be quite easier to convince your parents. Again every goal should be backed up with a full proof plan of action.

That's all for the day. Hope these techniques help you clear your mind . We will be talking about how our mind works and mind-mapping in the upcoming blog.

A letter to Jersey No. 7 | The Captain Cool!

Dear Maahi, A very Happy Birthday! Hope you are doing fine. 'Dhoni finishes off in style, a magnificent strike into the crowd. India lifts the World Cup after 28 years. The party starts in the dressing room and it's an indian captain who's been absolutely magnificent in the night of the final'. I can feel this entire comment, it's  not a comment any more. This is a letter from a not so typical cricket lover to a living legend. I want to let you know three of the many things I have learnt from you. 1. There is always more time than you think.  I personally believe statistics tell it all. You have been not out 50 times in ODI, out of these 50 ocassions-India won 47 matches. You have always lived this lesson. 2. Don't think of what'll happen in next 20/30 years. Plan about what are we going to do tomorrow or, a day after. You have always exhibited the subtle art of doing more and expecting less. I believe this  is a solution to multiple issues of our...

Solitude and Loneliness

Don't you think the root cause of most of our problems is the underlying loneliness that most of us experience in our daily lives today. Let's analyse what is the reason behind and derive some practical solution to this. Basically there are two situations i.e, loneliness and Solitude. In loneliness, you are alone and worried about having no one by your side while solitude is experiencing a whole new world when you are alone. You experience happiness when you are alone. You don't need a second person to be happy. The root cause of our emptiness is that our foundation for living is based on lies. We are stuck in the loop of lie spread by ourselves only and continue exhibiting dual personality. Actually we try to complete our emptiness through other things, actions and relationships (people)- don't we? As a consequence, we become more dependable on those things, actions or people. This dependency could be at physical, psychological, financial or even at mental level....
